Global Witness is looking for two Grant Managers to meet ambitious fundraising targets and develop excellent relationships with new and current donors.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to expand their fundraising experience in an international NGO. The ideal candidate will be keen to work in a dynamic and fast-paced fundraising team, as part of an international campaigning organisation.
We are looking for a motivated and committed individual, able to work well independently and as part of a team, with a personal commitment to Global Witness’ aims and objectives and an understanding of or willingness to learn about the areas of natural resources, corruption and conflict. You will have raised six and seven figure sums from trusts, foundations and statutory funders; have excellent written English, presentation and numeracy skills and proven account and project management skills.
Your work will include writing inspiring and successful funding applications, development of long-term and sustainable relationships of new and existing trust and statutory donors; in close collaboration with the Head of Grants, the development and implementation of a three year fundraising strategy and the monitoring and management of agreed income targets.
Global Witness investigates and campaigns to prevent natural resource-related conflict and corruption and associated environmental and human rights abuses.

ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT UNIT INTERNSHIP

Saferworld is an independent non-government organisation that works to prevent armed violence and create safer communities in which people can lead peaceful and rewarding lives.
We have an internship available in our Organisational Development Unit. This position will give the opportunity to play an active role in the development of our work, whilst gaining invaluable work experience within the non-governmental sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of ODU, Communications Manager and the software developers to support the continuing development and trialling of our new intranet system as a knowledge management and internal communications tool. The post holder will have a central role in training staff on the use of the system.
This is a full time position (37.5 hours). Interns receive the London living wage of £8.55 per hour (gross). The internship is for a 6 months period.
