Time: 10.30am (All seated) – 12noon

Venue: Southwark Cathedral, Chapter House

Montague Close, City of London, Greater London SE1 9DA (Station - London Bridge).



Reception: Glaziers Hall, 9 Montague Close, London Bridge, SE1 9DD (Station - London Bridge).
Time: 12.15 – 2.00 pm




This is a high profile event planned and organised by the family in collaboration with the London Borough of Southwark in honour of a community leader who dedicated his life to the service of the people.

Let us all turn out in large numbers to fill the venue as a sign of respect for a man we are all proud of.




There is a huge mainstream media attention for this state burial, which is going to be attended by top UK government functionaries, African Diplomats, MP’s, Mayors (Present & Past), Councillors, and Clergymen.




It will be an occasion for the Black community to celebrate the passing away of an outstanding leader whose achievement touched the entire segment of the UK and beyond.
