Our Director of Public Health gets his jab at the Broadway Vaccination Centre
Last Friday, our Director of Public Health, Matthew Cole, was given his Covid jab at the Broadway Theatre Vaccination Centre. The centre, which only opened its doors at the end of January, has so far administered 16,390 vaccines, and that’s just one site in the borough.
Matthew is urging everyone to get their jab when they are invited. The vaccine is safe and is our best chance of protecting our community against COVID-19 and the threat of future lockdowns.
Last week, another local vaccination centre opened at LondonEast in Dagenham, providing another location in the borough that will be easier for you to get to than sites outside Barking and Dagenham. The vaccination is by appointment only, so please only visit the site if you are contacted to do so. |
