Flanders Fields was witness to some of the greatest atrocities of the First World War. A hundred years on, this area of Flanders still bears the scars. Significant investment has resulted in new and upgraded museums and sites, andimproved accessibility for visitors from around the world seeking to commemorate and reflect on the people and the events of WW1. Over the next four years, a wealth of special exhibitions and cultural events offer visitors a truly unique and memorable experience.
