CMEAC's 25th Anniversary Launch Event
On 1st October 2011, CMEAC invited representatives from
every Church of England diocese to its national conference and
service of celebration, to celebrate the past, reflect on the
present and share dreams for the future.
The first session of the day celebrated CMEAC's past with founding members looking back and sharing some of the highlights of the past 25 years.
In the second session, key individuals reflected on the current situation and how the structures of the Church of England can better represent and serve the whole Church.
For the third session, two bishops and young people formed a discussion panel to try and find answers to key questions facing the Church.
The three sessions were punctuated with small group discussion, music and dancing, and were followed by a service of Eucharistic Prayer, beginning with a call to worship on African drums and a procession of flags and banners.
