This autumn, October Gallery presents a new solo exhibition from Owusu-Ankomah. The exhibition opens 15th September and continues to the end of October, 2011, Black History Month, UK .
Working in a new palette of colours, the large-scale paintings reflect Owusu-Ankomah's fascination with the adinkra symbols of his Ghanaian culture and depiction of monumental male human forms.
Enter a world of secret signs and hidden meanings, as the artist explores the Dogon people of Mali ’s tales of the Dog Star Sirius and their view of the universe.
