Finally South Sudan citizens could enjoy peace after yesterdays extra-ordinary session of IGAD Council of Ministers and IGAD leaders. Thanks to the effort of the IGAD leaders led by Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President Salva Kiir Mayardit of the Republic of South Sudan, Kenya's Deputy President William Ruto, First Vice President of the Republic of the Sudan Bakri Hassan Saleh, Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed and Minister of Foreign Affairs & International Cooperation of the Republic of Djibouti.

Recommitted to ending the war and fully engaging in the ongoing IGAD-led peace process as per the 9 May 2014 Agreement to resolve the crisis in South Sudan
Committed to expedite and complete dialogue on the formation of a transitional government of national unity within 60 days
To ensure unhindered humanitarian access and support for affected populations in line with their Recommitment to the Humanitarian Matters of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement of 6 May 2014
