NASA Supercomputing Goes Green: Modeling Ocean ClimateSun, 17 May 2009 23:00:00 -0500
Earth scientists are reaping huge benefits from research performed on NASA's advanced supercomputers

Hello all,
My name is Lawrence Ross and I'm the author of The Divine Nine: The History of African American Fraternities and Sororities. My book has been a bestseller among college students in the US for the past decade, and as a result, I've lectured at over 300 universities. African American fraternities and sororities have been the incubator for young African American leadership since the early 20th Century, producing such members as Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Jesse Jackson, Nikki Giovanni, Toni Morrison, Bill Cosby, and thousands of others. Our chapters are not only in the US, but also in Germany, South Korea, and the Caribbean. I'm emailing because one of my fraternity brothers is a lawyer in London, and he's been trying to get me to speak on college campuses in the UK during October. I have an honorarium, so he's thinking about matching sponsoring corporations with universities/ student groups who would like to hear about our organizations (particularly since many black fraternities and sororities are thinking of expanding into the UK). If you're interested in having a Divine Nine lecture, please contact me asap. It's going to take a bit to set everything up, but I'd like to be able to speak to as many students as possible. Thanks!-- Lawrence C. Ross, Jr.The Divine Nine: The History of African American Fraternities and Sororities
