First Announcement of Election AGM
Please take not of the following important information:

End of Term Notice
General members are hereby notified that the prescribed 2-year statutory term of the current Executive Committee (EXCO) ends in April 2009 i.e. this month. Therefore in line with accepted practice this notice is to formally inform members that an Election AGM will be scheduled to elect the key officers of the organization for a new term. Dates, venue and details of the Election AGM will be communicated to members shortly.

The Executive Committee
The Executive Committee are officers of the organization and are elected to represent the interest of the general members. The officers direct the organization’s affairs, manage its form and are accountable for the overall performance of the organization.

The Voting Process
As a member, you have the right to vote on a number of important matters including the election of key officers of the organization for the prescribed 2-year statutory term. The current executives are committed to running a free and fair election using a transparent, credible voting process. We are currently working out the modalities for this. We therefore ask that you support our efforts by turning up and participating in the process. Remember your vote is important. IT COUNTS!

The Election AGM
You are more than welcome to attend this year’s Election AGM. The meeting will also present an opportunity for members to meet, network and to be kept informed about the affairs of the organization.
