CARE International is a leading development and humanitarian charity supporting the poorest communities in 84 countries around the world. Our aim is to bring sustainable and innovative solutions to complex poverty issues and last year we supported 1015 poverty-fighting projects that reached more than 122 million people. Our mission is to create lasting change in poor communities and we put money where it is needed most.
The private sector has a critical role to play in reducing poverty. CARE’s private sector engagement team is recruiting a Senior Corporate Partnership Executive to help expand and build on our innovative work with the private sector to leverage resources, improve policies and practices and to challenge market systems to be more inclusive, creating real and better opportunities for poor people. You would sit in a dynamic and successful team that has both programmatic and fundraising expertise and objectives.
You will lead on developing and managing high-value partnerships with companies that deliver true benefits to poor men and women. You will be responsible for account management and new business development including research, prospecting and pitching to companies. You will work closely with technical programme advisors and colleagues in Country Offices and have the opportunity to see the end results for yourself by visiting our programmes overseas.
You will already have solid experience in corporate fundraising, strong business development skills, and an understanding of how the private sector operates and its role within international development.
