Barrister by profession, studied in England, called to the Bar by
Lincoln’s Inn in 1976, practised in Jamaica for a while, Returned
home to Sierra Leone in 1979 and Served as a Magistrate for three
years. Then joined politics in1982. In 1986 won a seat as a Member
of Parliament for Bombali Central one Constituency.
